2014-08-21 19:19:00: wow! this is awesome!! played back for me. so playable and easy. brilliant!! 2nd try.
UN-Confirmed by mahlemiut2014-08-22 00:34:16: Unfortunately, you used the wrong disk image. You'll be wanting "Bomb Jack (UK)", you used (as shown by the image asked for when starting playback) "Bomb Jack (S)". Might consider this for a clone competition, though.

2014-08-09 02:05:57: Great version :)
Confirmed by mahlemiut2014-08-13 04:31:30: What's with your speed? It's all over the place... (still averages to 99%, but still, it's odd)
Comment by Frankie2014-08-15 22:16:31: Yes, but that takes more time out of my time schedule :) I think what happened with Bomb Jack was that it was the first recording made after I've started up X-Split. But I don't feel any difference in the games. I've also used X-Split on Spectrum games, and no difference :)
Comment by mahlemiut2014-08-15 15:37:00: Not quite as wild, but it does a bit. Try making a video when you're playing it back. :)
Comment by Frankie2014-08-14 08:43:20: I was recording it using X-Split to submit a video on Highscore.com aswell. Could it be that? Is Chuckie Egg also running wild?
Comment by mahlemiut2014-08-13 14:48:04: Seemed to be fairly regular, certainly during gameplay.
Comment by Frankie2014-08-13 09:32:39: Spread over the whole recording, or just at the start?

2007-10-09 22:47:59: Hope this is the right DSK, clocked it this time!
UN-Confirmed by mahlemiut2007-10-10 00:44:09: Hard to say if its the right disk image or not - the filename listed looks right. If it asks about enabling cheats before loading, then you have the right version. Unfortunately, it looks like a playbackability issue with this game. I'm going to guess, and assume that the timer in the status bar turning red is not a good thing.

UN-Confirmed by mahlemiut2007-10-08 17:42:53: Can't play this one back. It is clearly not the expected disk image, anyway.
Comment by Executioner2007-10-09 22:16:55: Will someone please tell me where I can get the DSK image to play the 'official' version then?
Comment by mahlemiut2007-10-08 22:43:51: Yeah, we use GoodCPC 2.02 to match disk images. This is largely because it's a larger database than TOSEC is, in this case. Also, MESS includes some GoodCPC image CRCs, so they can be matched straight from that GUI. We're not really interested in pointing people to ROM download sites either.
Comment by Executioner2007-10-08 20:22:03: This is the version of Bomb Jack on NVG. As the main source of DSK images for the CPC, I would have thought this was the one to use.
Comment by mahlemiut2007-10-08 14:58:47: Ok, it gets started on the Spanish (?) version, but loses sync part way through stage 1.
Comment by mahlemiut2007-10-08 14:52:03: Doesn't appear to use the expected GoodCPC disk image (either main or [a1])

2006-02-06 04:58:52: The feel of the game when it comes to the controls seems a bit different to the Spectrum version. Need more practice :) [0.1.4]
