Info/Special RulesIf you don't complete the game you just enter your final score.

However if you complete it, you get a bonus of 100.000 points. To avoid leeching you must subtract 10.000 points for each life lost. You lose a life by either dropping into the water, or if the time runs out. Here's the scoring system formula to use if you complete the game:

Final Score + 100.000 - (X * 10.000)

X = Number of lives lost in the game.

There's also a Side Competitions for this game in which you can leech as much as you like.

2010-05-22 17:09:28: at least I can say I'm first to get more than 4240 on the first level.
With only one enemy hit, we are now approaching perfection. I believe only 100 or so points of time can be gained, so with these patterns 45k is not possible.
634 to your 170.

2010-04-13 08:47:48: I'm the first person all around the world recording more than 44K points with the first live in the Spectrum version. Would you be able to do the same?. Your 424 and 170 more.

Edited by Frankie 2005-02-19 18:05:44: You must choose Spectrum - Side Competition, then Nebulus (Leeching) should be the only choice there :) I'll watch the score tomorrow, its about time to get some sleep.

2005-02-11 08:33:21: Finally completed. Had to leech a lot to beat my previous topscore here at HARP. Had a game before this, that I also completed but only got 40k. Don't know if we should use a bonus system for lives left when completed to avoid leeching. V6.25
Confirmed by Skito2005-02-11 18:59:45: took about 60minutes of playback time, dunno how to calculate acurately
